ARTS & MUSICAL EVENTS AT THE RESORT

Friday, July 04,3-5 pm Sweet Sounds of Aidan & Mandy entertaining you poolside from 3 to 5 pm. Their music possesses a feel-good vibe,  leaving one rejuvenated and inspired. With a striking sound of haunting harmonies and playful guitar, this female rock-folk-pop duo can only  be described as sensational.  

Friday, July 11, 7-9 pm- Frolicking Fiddlers – gather around the fire pit on the lakefront for a family-oriented evening of traditional  Celtic and Eastern Canadian tunes.   

Friday July 18, 8-10pm - "Allison Altherr" Solo Acoustic guitarist sings for the SWR Beach Fire Vocalist, Musician, Songwriter. Relaxed,  earthy and warm, Allison's vocal style is influenced by blues, western swing, latin, traditional jazz, and grounded by her country roots.

Friday, August 01,7-9 pm– Jam Camp Society Facilitators, including Bobby Bovenzi, will lead an evening family-oriented campfire session of  sing-along folk, kid’s and world music. Percussion instruments will be handed out to those who join to create a rhythm circle. Song sheets  will be distributed also for you to join in the fun!  

August 04-15 Artist Alex Fong’s delightful works will be  featured at the Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa.   

August 08-10 Artist Alex Fong returns to the Summerland Resort for an annual summer artist workshop.   Workshop kicks off with a Friday evening wine and cheese demonstration followed by two days of instruction with wine lunches.  Embed Photo “workshop 2014-page 2” Register Now

Saturday, August 09 7-9 pm - "Easy Fix Duet" Tom Van Unen & Dana Barnes bring energy to the SWR Beach Fire. Drawing from a huge catalogue  of music, Easy Fix enjoys entertaining our audiences by performing popular covers from classic  rock, top 40, 80's rock/pop, Motown, funk, country . . .
